Founder, Chairman and CEO
Martin Manniche is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Greenwave Systems. He is responsible for leading all aspects of the company, including setting the company’s vision and strategic roadmap, leading the hardware team and managing strategic partnerships. Prior to founding Greenwave Systems, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Cisco Systems’ Consumer Business Group, where he headed the Cisco Connected Home architecture team and drove Z-Wave and ZigBee technology over TCP/IP, HomePlug, MoCA and Wi-Fi standards. Mr. Manniche was Co-Founder and COO of Denmark’s KiSS Technology, where he helped bring the world’s first DivX player to market. Other technology firsts he helped enable include the HDD recorder and the world’s first connected DVD player. Mr. Manniche’s talent, commitment and passion for technological innovation have earned him more than 100 industry accolades, including an IT-Prisen, Denmark’s most prestigious award.
Chief Technology Officer
Leon Hounshell is the Chief Technology Officer at Greenwave Systems, responsible for architecting all products and services as well as leading product management. Mr. Hounshell set the direction and led the development team responsible for the evolution of Greenwave’s software and services platform solution, and prior to joining Greenwave in 2013, he served as the Division General Manager at Motorola Mobility, leading the Connected Home Solutions division that delivered multiple products and services for the service provider, utility and retail channels. Mr. Hounshell came to Motorola through its acquisition of 4Home, Inc. where he was co-founder, President and CEO and also served as Chairman of 4Home’s Board of Directors. Prior to 4Home, Leon was VP of Engineering and co-founder of PRISMIQ, Inc. where he led the engineering teams that developed the world’s first Digital Media Adapter (DMA). Earlier, Mr. Hounshell was the director of software engineering for Polycom’s Network Access Group, a Polycom Division formed from the acquisition of Atlas Communications Engines. Mr. Hounshell was co-founder and led the software engineering teams at Atlas. Mr. Hounshell holds a BSEE from the University of Florida.
Peter Wilmar Christensen
Chief Financial Officer
Peter Wilmar Christensen is a Founder and Chief Financial Officer of Greenwave Systems, responsible for managing the financial performance of the company. Prior to founding Greenwave Systems, he was Senior Director at Cisco/Linksys as well as Co-Founder and CEO of KiSS Technology. Prior to that, he was Founder and CEO of P. Wilmar Christensen A/S, a computer distribution company. A seasoned IT professional with 23 years of experience, he has had the prestigious honor of winning the IT-Prisen award from the Danish IT Industry Association. Mr. Christensen holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
Chief Revenue Officer
Christos Lagomichos is the Chief Revenue Officer at Greenwave Systems, responsible for global sales of products and services. Christos will manage the worldwide sales team and he will also have business development responsibilities. Christos has over 30 years of executive experience at various technical companies. Prior to joining Greenwave Systems, Christos was the CEO at Audyssey Laboratories, Inc., a company specializing in the development of innovative audio technologies found in tens of millions of products used in homes, cars, studios and movie theaters. Prior to running Audyssey, Christos was the President of Trident Microsystems and the EVP of Home at NXP Semiconductors. In addition, Christos spent more than 23 years at STMicroelectronics, Europe’s largest semiconductor chipmaker, most recently as the Corporate Vice President. Fluent in English, German, Greek and Italian, Christos holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the Technical University of Munich in Germany.
Chief Scientist and Technology Evangelist
Jim Hunter is the Chief Scientist and Technology Evangelist of Greenwave Systems. He is responsible for oversight of technology, architecture and innovation of the Axon platform. As Technology Evangelist, Jim promotes the Greenwave platform and technology message through industry engagement. Prior to joining Greenwave Systems, Jim led Motorola Mobility’s (a division of Google) architecture and strategy for driving the future of the smart, simple connected home. During this time, Jim invented several key patents and served on several patent boards mentoring other inventors. In December 2010, Jim joined Motorola Mobility through the acquisition of 4Home, a company he founded and served as CTO and Chief Architect. Earlier in his career, Jim founded Premise Systems, the first IP-based connected home platform company, which was acquired by Motorola in 2003. Jim's specialties include Software Architecture, User Interface Design and Development and Intellectual Property Development. Jim is a passionate inventor and futurist, inventing a number of patents across a broad spectrum including data algorithms, user interaction, contextual data and device management. Prior to the advent of the connected home, Jim served in the US Navy as a Nuclear Engineer and Nuclear Certified Instructor.
Chief Design Officer
Eskild Hansen is Chief Design Officer of Greenwave Systems. He is internationally recognized for design work that has been featured in a wide range of global media and he is currently responsible for creating world-class industrial design and user experiences for clients. He uses the proud heritage of Scandinavian Design as a platform for his work within areas from consumer electronics, Internet of Things and M2M products to lamps, furniture and medical devices. Eskild holds a range of design patents and design awards. He combines his proven background of design experience, mixed with business and strategy skills. This provides him with a unique perspective that has enabled him to help global companies and to become a frequent keynote speaker at conferences around the world. He worked as Head of the Cisco European Design Center for 6 years and also worked as Global Director of design at Coloplast. In addition, Eskild has worked on design projects for a range of companies, including Bang & Olufsen and Deutsche Telecom.
EVP of PMO and Software Engineering
Sharon Wang is the Executive Vice President of Program Management Office (PMO) and Software Engineering at Greenwave Systems. She is responsible for driving the product lifecycle management (PLM) process and leading the program management team to manage all Greenwave programs end-to-end from sandbox to EOL. Sharon also leads the embedded development team at Greenwave. Prior to joining the company, she was the Senior Director of Quality and Program Management at Belkin, a leading manufacturer of consumer electronics that specializes in connectivity devices. Sharon also spent over 16 years at Cisco Systems and Cisco’s Linksys Division where she held roles as Director of PMO and QA, Director of Engineering Operations, and Senior S/W and H/W Development Manager. Sharon is a highly regarded executive with a proven track record of building and leading high-performance, operationally-efficient project management and engineering teams. She holds a BSEE degree in Industrial Engineering from National Cheng-Kung University and an MSEE degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California.
SVP, Supply Chain
Troy Pliska is Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Operations of Greenwave Systems, responsible for managing the factory relationships involving all product lines. Prior to joining the company, he was Executive Program Manager for Connected Life programs and Strategic Planning for Cisco. He was also Vice President of Supply Chain Operations for CTO products at Gateway Computer Corporation, as well as a Partner with Accenture’s Supply Chain Strategy and Operations practice within the Electronics and High Tech Vertical. A well-regarded executive with more than 18 years of experience in the high tech supply chain space, Troy holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at San Diego.
GM, IoT Solutions and SVP of Engineering
Tim Lyons is General Manager of the IoT Solutions BU and Senior Vice President of Engineering at Greenwave Systems. He is responsible for all engineering design, development and deployment of the company’s IoT products and services and our cloud solution. Prior to joining Greenwave Systems, Tim was Senior Director for Internet Services at Linksys/Cisco, responsible for the Linksys Easy Link Advisor (LELA), the home network setup, monitoring and management application deployed with Linksys Routers, Gateways and other Linksys product lines. Prior to that, he was CTO for GetLower.com; VP of Engineering for Gateway Computers; Engineering Vice President at Relsys International; Engineering Vice President at ConsumerInfo.com; Managing Director at AltaVista Shopping; Senior Manager at Compaq Computers; Senior Manager at Loral Space Systems; and an Engineering Manager for Synopsys and Amdahl. Tim also served in the US Army as a Commissioned Officer in the 7th Infantry Division and also a Non-Commissioned Officer NCO with the 2nd Ranger Battalion as a US Army Airborne Ranger.
VP, Product Marketing
Roger Gregory is Vice President of Product Marketing at Greenwave Systems and is responsible for leading the Marketing team of Greenwave’s Internet of Things (IoT) services platform, including promotion via Social Media, Trade Shows and PR. Prior to joining Greenwave, Roger was Vice President of Marketing at Entropic, where he led an international team for Cable, Telco and Broadband Access. He was responsible for developing the US Cable strategy and managing the shift from QAM-to-IP based systems, and deploying cost-effective Broadband Access, primarily in China. His team successfully achieved #1 share in HD-DTA market for bandwidth reclamation and was first to deploy an RDK based IP-Client with TWC. Prior to Entropic, he was Sr. Director of Marketing for Trident Microsystems, Sr. Director of Marketing for Home Media at NXP and Business Analyst at the Strategy Office for Philips Semiconductors. He is also trained as a Systems Architect by Philips Semiconductors. Roger holds degrees in Electronics and in Electrical Engineering from the University of Salford in the United Kingdom, and a Diploma in Management from the University of Southampton, UK.
VP, Global Human Resources
Heather Dilley serves as Vice President of Global Human Resources of Greenwave Systems and is responsible for all aspects of HR, including overseeing recruiting, employee performance and compensation, benefits and organization development. Heather has over 20 years of diversified Human Resources experience and joined Greenwave Systems from Local Corporation, an online search engine located in Irvine, where she served as Vice President of Human Resources and Administration. Prior to Local, Heather was Human Resources Manager at Paciolan, an online ticketing software company. She has also served in senior human resource roles at a number of high technology and online companies including Rainbow Technologies, Canon, New Horizons Computer Learning Centers and HNC Software Insurance Solutions, among others. Heather holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and a B.A. in Sociology from Chapman University.
Vice President of Legal Affairs
As Vice President of Legal Affairs for Greenwave, James Kuan oversees and handles all significant corporate legal matters for the company, including, technology licensing, strategic partnerships, intellectual property, litigation management, M&A, employment/HR issues, corporate governance, marketing reviews, compliance and other crucial business matters as they arise. He previously counseled disruptive software and technology companies in various legal leadership positions, including ten years building an energy management startup that specialized in integrating building automation controls through various software platforms that was eventually sold to United Technologies. James also previously worked at Altisource, Toshiba and a VC fund that was later sold to Guggenheim Partners. James is expertly prepared in the critical foundational issues necessary to foster the continued growth and development of Greenwave in the "IoT" space while protecting its legal interests in partnership with its business goals. James has an undergraduate and law degree from the University of Washington and is licensed to practice in both California and Washington.
Allan Han-Huei Teo
Allan Teo is Managing Director, Asia/ANZ, and Senior Vice President at Greenwave Systems, where he is responsible for leading the Asia operations, including business development, sales, partnerships, government relations and innovation. Allan joined Greenwave in 2009 and has been instrumental in building Greenwave's presence in Asia, where its regional headquarters and R&D center for Internet of Things (IoT) are located in Singapore. Allan leads the IoT R&D agenda, collaborations and engagements for the R&D center. Prior to joining Greenwave, Allan worked in the Singapore government, driving strategic collaborations and developing innovation ecosystems with global Information and Communications Technology (ICT) multi-national companies and governments. A pioneer and influencer in the smart grid space in Singapore and the region, Allan actively developed smart grid programs and business opportunities, and orchestrated the convergence of ICT and energy technologies. With over six years spent in Norway, the UK and Germany, Allan maintains a strong connection to the European community. Allan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
